The app

DeviceDrill runs on your computer and works offline. It does not send your backups, recordings or any other data anywhere, has no account and no tracking. It only reads your backups and never changes them.

This website

This site uses no cookies and no third-party fonts. It is hosted on Cloudflare, which processes technical data such as your IP address to deliver the pages and protect them from abuse.

We count visits with Cloudflare Web Analytics. It uses no cookies or local storage and does not follow you across sites or build a profile of you; we only see totals, such as how many people visited a page, which site they came from, their country and their type of browser.

The launch email list

If you leave your email address, we store:

• your email address,
• the date and time you signed up,
• the text of the box you ticked, as a record of your consent.

We use it for one thing: to email you once when DeviceDrill is available. We don’t share it, sell it or add you to a newsletter. The list is stored in a Cloudflare D1 database and deleted after the launch email is sent, or within 24 months at the latest.

The legal basis is your consent. You can withdraw it at any time, and ask to see, correct or delete your address, by writing to contact (at) devicedrill (dot) com. You also have the right to complain to a data protection authority; in Romania that is ANSPDCP.
